Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or public sector sales.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent opportunities in a structured sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Understanding of public sector procurement processes and extended sales cycles.
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-selling model.
- Strong organizational skills and pipeline discipline.
- Ability to conduct research, map accounts, and identify whitespace opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, and sales progression across assigned public sector accounts.
- Qualify inbound and SDR-generated leads by assessing fit, buying intent, and stakeholder landscape.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand agency needs, procurement timelines, and funding structures.
- Support enterprise account executives in building and executing strategic account plans.
- Map key stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement officers within target accounts.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive follow-ups and relationship nurturing.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and executive briefings.
- Ensure accurate CRM management, forecasting support, and activity tracking.
