Requirements

Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, or recognized legal certification).
2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or in similar roles.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with contracts and data protection law.
Hands-on experience preparing Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).
Experience contacting vendors regarding contract-related issues.
Fluency in English.
Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English.
Comfortable reviewing and discussing uncensored AI-generated and NSFW content.
Goal-oriented with a doer mindset and ability to balance execution and strategy.

Responsibilities

Own compliance with global laws applicable to AI and e-commerce platforms.
Manage contracts and assessments under data protection law including DPAs and TIAs.
Prepare and maintain documentation for AI Governance, data protection, and consumer rights.
Conduct product and feature reviews for compliance with safety laws and data protection.
Manage daily compliance tasks such as IP issues, NDAs, and license reviews.
Update legal terms including TOS, privacy notices, and content policies.
Research and analyze the application of new laws and regulatory guidance to EverAI operations.
