Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and / or professional accounting qualification ACCA / CPA.
- 4+ years relevant experience with progressing scope and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of IFRS and any local GAAP and ability to apply these practically.
- Strong project management skills; ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a desire for continuous growth and improvement.
- Experience with US GAAP is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with internal and external audits as well as building a strong control environment is a plus.
- At least 2 years audit experience (preferably in Big4) is preferred.
- Proven FP&A experience as well as experience owning financials across multiple entities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the financial close for EMEA entities and collaborate with local financial service providers to facilitate a smooth monthly and yearly process.
- Prepare in-house or coordinate with local service providers to prepare and file statutory financial statements and other accounting related deliverables.
- Play an active role in the statutory audit process, arranging planning meetings, identifying key stakeholders, defining milestones, and managing the overall timeline.
- Review and analyse the P&Ls, Balance Sheets, and cash flow statements of the entities to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to drive overall enhancements in the Finance department.
- Optimize processes through streamlining and automation, implementing smart, pragmatic solutions for operational and reporting challenges.
- Engage in long-term strategic partnerships with external service providers to ensure smooth financial operations.
