Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent).
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in a finance management role.
- Full proficiency in English.
- Proven ownership of full-cycle month-end close, management accounts, and financial statement preparation.
- Hands-on experience coordinating statutory audits and managing external auditor relationships.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP), VAT, and corporate tax compliance.
- Experience as a finance business partner to non-finance stakeholders, ideally at the CEO/MD level.
- Solid understanding of internal controls, balance sheet management, and working capital optimization.
- High proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for assigned entities.
- Deliver monthly financial reporting packs with clear variance analysis and commentary.
- Act as a finance business partner to entity CEOs, providing insights on pricing, cost management, and operational decisions.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and maintain rolling forecasts.
- Coordinate statutory audits and ensure all regulatory filings (corporate tax, VAT, payroll) are completed on time.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate finance processes using digital tools.
