Requirements
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or SaaS/tech environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accrual-basis accounting.
- Comfortable using Xero or a comparable cloud accounting platform.
- Ability to work independently with strong judgment in a compressed close window.
- AI-first mindset with a focus on building automation and reporting tools.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Detail-oriented with a client-first, problem-solving mentality.
- CPA, CPA candidate, or equivalent accounting designation in progress is a strong asset.
- Experience with payroll or commission processing is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cash balances daily across all entities.
- Perform bank matching and Xero reconciliations.
- Manage payment setup for AP, contractors, affiliates, and wires/ACH/EFT.
- Handle multi-entity intercompany allocation models including software, people costs, and insurance.
- Prepare journal entries, period-end reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support quarterly GST and US sales tax filing.
- Maintain automated workbooks and implement AI-assisted finance workflows.
