Requirements
- Extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of procurement, with emphasis on enterprise-level contracts.
- Deep familiarity with financial structuring in contracts, including CAPEX, cash flow management, and credit discounting.
- Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal jargon.
- Demonstrated strategic problem-solving skills regarding supply chain bottlenecks and vendor dynamics.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Preferred: Direct experience in datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology procurement.
- Preferred: Familiarity with modern procurement software and ERP systems.
- Preferred: Prior experience in a remote-first startup environment.
- Preferred: Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law (e.g., CPSM, JD).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end negotiations for intricate, high-value agreements, prioritizing payment schedules, cost structuring, and strategic discounting.
- Manage relationships with critical suppliers to secure optimal terms for infrastructure needs.
- Act as a primary bridge between procurement and Legal, reviewing complex clauses and streamlining contract execution.
- Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals to forecast expenses and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and finance leadership to align procurement strategies with product delivery timelines.
