Requirements

  • 1-5 years of prior sales experience with a TPA, cost control vendor, MGU, or carrier.
  • Knowledge of ERISA and the Affordable Care Act.
  • Understanding of insured ancillary/voluntary coverages, affinity programs, captives, or TPA operations.
  • Familiarity with related cost control point solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Ability to travel nationwide.
  • CEBS certification preferred.
  • Self-Funded Specialist Designation preferred.
  • Life and Health insurance license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage and expand professional network with a focus on channel partners.
  • Target partners including carriers, affinity programs, MGUs, captives, point solutions, and brokers.
  • Continuously develop domain expertise and identify opportunities for innovative solutions.
  • Develop and deliver effective employee benefit solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client decision-makers.
  • Meet and exceed sales and retention targets for the assigned book of business.
