Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant B2B business development experience.
  • Experience selling into global pharma and biotechnology customers.
  • Proven experience orchestrating global multi-dimensional client relationships in a matrix environment.
  • Strong business acumen and sales instincts.
  • Comfortable presenting in person or via phone/video calls.
  • Growth mindset and natural curiosity.
  • Ability to travel for client sites, conferences, and events.
  • Science degree or prior experience in the life sciences industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Build new business leads from unpenetrated accounts.
  • Cold-call and email C-level executives and key decision makers to open new opportunities.
  • Identify and close new prospects for meetings and demos.
  • Promptly follow up on inbound leads.
  • Close new business opportunities to deliver scalable long-term growth.
  • Build account plans and devise strategies for transformational growth.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including marketing, editorial, and analysts.
