Requirements
- Earned doctoral degree in nursing, education, or related field (DNP, PhD, EdD, or equivalent).
- Current unencumbered RN license and eligible for licensure in states required by the academic program.
- Minimum of three years of graduate nursing education experience.
- Experience with curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation, including competency-based assessment strategies.
- Experience with program evaluation, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state, regional, and programmatic accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE).
- Experience analyzing and interpreting academic, clinical, and program outcome data.
- National APRN certification and licensure preferred.
- Graduate nursing program administration experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to off-site locations for marketing, residency/intensive events, and professional activities.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategies to achieve local and program-wide goals consistent with university policies and accreditation bodies.
- Collect and prepare outcome data to maintain systematic program evaluation.
- Contribute to policy development and implementation via the Program Director Council.
- Oversee and evaluate contributing faculty members.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure curriculum quality, competency-based assessment, and accreditation compliance.
- Supervise students regarding complaints, appeals, and misconduct.
- Participate in marketing and university representation activities.
