Requirements

  • Earned doctoral degree in nursing, education, or related field (DNP, PhD, EdD, or equivalent).
  • Current unencumbered RN license and eligible for licensure in states required by the academic program.
  • Minimum of three years of graduate nursing education experience.
  • Experience with curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation, including competency-based assessment strategies.
  • Experience with program evaluation, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state, regional, and programmatic accreditation standards (e.g., CCNE).
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting academic, clinical, and program outcome data.
  • National APRN certification and licensure preferred.
  • Graduate nursing program administration experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations for marketing, residency/intensive events, and professional activities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement strategies to achieve local and program-wide goals consistent with university policies and accreditation bodies.
  • Collect and prepare outcome data to maintain systematic program evaluation.
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation via the Program Director Council.
  • Oversee and evaluate contributing faculty members.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure curriculum quality, competency-based assessment, and accreditation compliance.
  • Supervise students regarding complaints, appeals, and misconduct.
  • Participate in marketing and university representation activities.
