Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience working as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record of architecting cloud-based pipelines.
- Deep, hands-on engineering experience within Snowflake, specifically focusing on ingestion, staging strategies, stream/task management, and query optimization.
- Expert-level SQL skills for complex data transformation, validation, performance tuning, and building clean analytics schemas.
- Direct experience integrating with Salesforce, including a strong understanding of its data model, REST/Bulk APIs, permissions, and commercial objects.
- Proven experience ingesting and modeling data from Jira or similar enterprise-level ticketing and workflow management platforms.
- Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for seamless daily technical collaboration.
- Familiarity with modern data orchestration and transformation tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, or Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard support.
- Experience utilizing version control (Git), automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD deployment workflows.
- Advanced understanding of Jira Software or Jira Service Management.
Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and maintain high-performing data pipelines to ingest structured and semi-structured data from enterprise SaaS systems into Snowflake.
- Develop Snowflake pipeline objects, staging environments, advanced transformation logic, and aggregations to build optimized, reporting-ready data structures.
- Lead the technical ingestion and modeling of Salesforce commercial data and Jira process data.
- Implement rigorous data quality checks, automated error handling, reconciliation scripts, and proactive end-to-end pipeline monitoring.
- Work strictly within enterprise security architectures, access-control boundaries, and role-based permissions.
- Partner with Power BI developers, Jira/Salesforce administrators, and business analysts to validate data availability and support executive dashboards.
- Produce comprehensive technical designs, data flow documentation, and operational handoffs while actively participating in standard Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
