Requirements
- Experience in regulated medical device, digital health, or healthcare UX.
- Experience designing clinician- and/or patient-facing software with an understanding of clinical workflows.
- Strong UX fundamentals: user research, task analysis, workflow mapping, information architecture, and wireframing.
- Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design tools.
- Hands-on experience applying IEC 62366-1 and FDA human factors guidance to software applications.
- Experience producing regulated, audit-ready design documentation.
- Ability to translate input from medical and scientific stakeholders into clear design artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Partner with medical science teams, clinicians, and patients to capture clinical workflows and patient journeys.
- Document users, use environments, and core tasks for use specification.
- Collaborate on identifying use errors and hazard-related use scenarios for risk analysis.
- Define workflows and information architecture for clinician and patient software applications.
- Produce low-to-mid fidelity wireframes and interaction patterns for key workflows.
- Document design rationale and decisions to support product requirements and the design history file.
