Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in writing or editing (journalism, content marketing, or technical writing).
- Professional portfolio demonstrating technical writing ability.
- Strong cybersecurity fluency to effectively interview experts.
- Ability to synthesize messy interviews or raw data into clear, concise content.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple concurrent pieces.
- Comfort using GenAI tools like Gemini and Claude.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of AP style or willingness to learn it.
- Curiosity and ability to quickly learn new domains.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical content including blogs, threat reports, data sheets, and how-to guides.
- Embed with threat intel and SOC teams to identify and pitch compelling stories.
- Interview security experts and translate technical expertise into content accessible to practitioners.
- Repurpose research findings into various formats including social media threads and reports.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, product, and PMM teams to maintain technical accuracy.
- Apply SEO best practices and adhere to the in-house style guide.
