Requirements
- Power-user level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivots, lookups, and financial modeling.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in at least one visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Working financial literacy, with the ability to interpret balance sheets and income statements.
- Experience extracting and cleaning data from CRM or help desk tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk).
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for querying, debugging, and analysis.
- Analytical instinct to independently identify and investigate relevant business questions.
- SQL proficiency or a strong willingness to learn (preferred).
- Experience with Python for automation and analysis (nice to have).
- Experience working across multiple clients or business units (nice to have).
- Exposure to the cannabis industry or other regulated, data-heavy verticals (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Build dashboards and recurring reporting from scratch using visualization tools, determining relevant metrics and insights.
- Pull and reshape data from CRMs, help desks, POS systems, and spreadsheets to address business questions.
- Analyze sales, operational, and cost data to identify anomalies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Report on sales performance, lead funnels, yield, response times, and cost trends across client accounts.
- Interpret P&L and income statements to identify discrepancies or performance issues.
- Partner with delivery and client teams to define critical measurement criteria.
