Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in Arizona and state of primary residence.
- DEA License.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
- Proficiency in psychopharmacological management.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, telehealth environment.
- Ability to maintain a quiet, dedicated, distraction-free workspace with reliable internet.
- Patient-first mindset.
- Ability to perform prolonged sitting and computer-based work.
- Willingness to obtain Data Waiver for medication-assisted treatment if not already held.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all ages.
- Manage psychopharmacological treatment for psychiatric conditions.
- Provide medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorders.
- Conduct supportive psychotherapy and use trauma-informed, harm reduction, and patient-centered approaches.
- Coordinate care between psychiatry, substance use treatment, and medical providers.
- Support scheduled and walk-in patients.
- Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans to determine level of care.
- Facilitate care coordination for psychological testing, medical referrals, peer supports, housing, and social determinants.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PCPs, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, counselors, and peer support staff.
