Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in California.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
- Certification in Psychiatry (PMHNP or Psychiatry CAQ).
- Current DEA License.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience with trauma-informed approaches and harm reduction modeling.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, virtual environment.
- Ability to provide telemedicine services.
- Patient-first mindset.
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorder across all ages.
- Perform psychopharmacological management of diagnosed treatment conditions.
- Provide medication-assisted treatment for patients with OUD in active withdrawal or recovery.
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care using harm reduction models.
- Demonstrate proficiency in care coordination between psychiatry, substance use treatment, and medical integration.
- Complete validated rating scales, documentation, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PCPs, pediatricians, OB/GYN, counselors, and peer support staff.
