Requirements
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Oregon and state of primary residence.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
- Current DEA license.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency in trauma-informed approach and harm reduction modeling.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity.
- Willingness to obtain X-waiver for medication-assisted treatment.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorder across all ages.
- Manage psychopharmacological treatment for psychiatric diagnosed conditions.
- Provide medication-assisted treatment for patients with OUD (X-waiver or willingness to learn).
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy using motivational interviewing, trauma-informed approaches, and harm reduction modeling.
- Coordinate care between psychiatric, substance use, and general medical services.
- Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans to determine appropriate levels of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCPs, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, counselors, and peer support staff.
