- 8+ years’ directly related experience
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice, or hold Bar membership, in the state of residence.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience at an AM Law 100 firm.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as in-house counsel.
- Extensive experience reviewing and drafting CDA, MSA, and SOW agreements.
- 8+ years of directly related professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with contract management systems.
- Ability to accommodate EST or CST business hours.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industries is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, negotiate, and manage in-house and third-party contracts.
- Draft contract language de novo to address business needs and mitigate risk.
- Communicate legal issues and business risks to internal decision-makers.
- Serve as legal contracts representative for various departments including Manufacturing, Regulatory, IT, and Finance.
- Provide solution-oriented contractual and business advice.
- Train and guide business teams on contract templates and best practices.
- Manage and enhance the company's contract management system.
- Provide legal due diligence and support for company-wide initiatives.
