About AirGarage
AirGarage transforms the $131 billion US parking market, bringing offline real estate online. They replace outdated systems with a unified operating system, optimizing everything from payments and dynamic pricing to enforcement. National real estate leaders like Hines, Greystar, and Meta partner with AirGarage to increase parking asset revenue by 20-50% or more. This system delivers a magical experience for drivers and unparalleled control for real estate owners. Founded in 2018, AirGarage manages over 300 facilities across 38 states, parking over 1.8 million cars annually.
How We Work
AirGarage operates as a remote-first company, valuing both individual productivity and team cohesion. While you can work from anywhere in US time zones, expect to travel approximately 6 weeks per year. These trips include 2-3 full company offsites for collaboration and team building. You will also lend a hand supporting new location launches and participate in onboarding sessions. The culture emphasizes continuous learning, humility, and open communication.
Engineering at AirGarage
AirGarage builds all technology in-house, from ground-up solutions for dynamic pricing to License Plate Recognition (LPR) enforcement. Engineers solve unique challenges at the intersection of physical infrastructure and cutting-edge software. They gather real-time data from cameras and sensors, fueling models and algorithms to optimize property performance. The technical approach involves leveraging Python (Django), React Native, Node.js, and some microservices in Elixir. Expect to work with large datasets and integrate new technologies to make the physical world legible to a digital system.
