Requirements

- Experience with SEO implementation, including structural changes based on data.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, YouTube Studio, Clearscope, and Ahrefs.
- Experience with YouTube optimization.
- Familiarity with AI overview optimization and generative SEO.
- Experience with A/B testing.
- Strong knowledge of anime culture and its community.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Research keywords and search trends to inform content strategy.
- Optimize on-page metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, and structured data) for Crunchyroll News evergreen articles.
- Conduct content audits and refresh editorial pages to improve search rankings.
- Track keyword rankings, traffic shifts, and content performance in Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
- Optimize YouTube video metadata: titles, descriptions, and chapters.
- Audit, organize, and optimize playlists for discoverability and watch-time improvements.
- Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets and internal dashboards.
- Compile competitive research on how other anime and entertainment channels approach SEO.
