Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, fintech, payments, SaaS, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in hunting, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong ability to generate leads and build a pipeline independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with outbound sales and cold outreach activities.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to exceed targets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new merchant acquisition through proactive outbound sales activities.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation.
  • Identify and engage potential merchants through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, partnerships, and events.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to closing and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of PayGenius products and payment solutions.
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging industry trends.
  • Build strategic relationships with prospects and partners.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting within CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to support product and commercial strategy.
