Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in product management with complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML products, including LLM-powered tools or autonomous agent systems.
- Experience in an enterprise or SaaS product environment.
- Deep fluency in the current AI landscape, including model developments and agent frameworks.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI workflow design, prompt engineering, and human-in-the-loop system design.
- Strong proficiency with product management and documentation tools such as Jira, Airtable, Asana, or Confluence.
- Proven track record of executing effectively within a defined strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Curiosity regarding higher education and student success platforms.
Responsibilities
- Execute against the Compass AI product roadmap in close collaboration with the VP of Product.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential AI use cases across academic advising, enrollment, financial aid, and student wellbeing.
- Lead structured discovery with institutional customers to validate hypotheses and surface unmet needs.
- Translate strategy into clear, actionable work including epics, problem statements, user stories, and success criteria.
- Design and run pilots and prototype evaluations to inform product development.
- Partner with engineering, legal, and compliance teams to integrate new AI tooling and navigate regulatory considerations.
- Support the expansion of Compass AI's agent library and intervention design.
