Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of healthcare sales experience or 2+ years as a genetic counselor.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as account management, client success, or sales.
  • Proven ability to solve complex, cross-functional customer challenges.
  • Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent listening, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and manage territory priorities effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive account growth by prospecting, developing, and closing new business while expanding existing relationships.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for healthcare providers, including physicians and genetic counselors.
  • Proactively identify risks to customer satisfaction and coordinate cross-functional action plans.
  • Analyze account utilization trends and customer needs to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Deliver tailored, consultative sales presentations communicating the value of genetic testing solutions.
  • Lead educational efforts such as in-office appointments, regional conferences, and physician events.
  • Maintain a high field presence with an expectation of 4.5 days per week in the field.
