Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of healthcare sales experience or 2+ years as a genetic counselor.
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as account management, client success, or sales.
- Proven ability to solve complex, cross-functional customer challenges.
- Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent listening, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and manage territory priorities effectively.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive account growth by prospecting, developing, and closing new business while expanding existing relationships.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for healthcare providers, including physicians and genetic counselors.
- Proactively identify risks to customer satisfaction and coordinate cross-functional action plans.
- Analyze account utilization trends and customer needs to identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Deliver tailored, consultative sales presentations communicating the value of genetic testing solutions.
- Lead educational efforts such as in-office appointments, regional conferences, and physician events.
- Maintain a high field presence with an expectation of 4.5 days per week in the field.
