Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, investments, economics, mathematics or a related field.
- 1-3 years of investment-related experience (internships and relevant coursework considered).
- Strong interest in institutional investments, asset management, and financial markets.
- Strong capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- CFA Level I candidate or progress toward CFA designation preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to create or enhance processes and workflows.
- Familiarity with OneNote, SQL, VBA, or Python (or similar).
- Experience with Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, or Clearwater is a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
Responsibilities
- Support investment opportunity and manager evaluation through due diligence workflows and documentation.
- Develop and maintain quantitative frameworks for comparing investment managers and strategies.
- Conduct relative value analysis among various investment opportunities.
- Prepare meeting agendas and track action items during manager presentations.
- Coordinate new manager onboarding and ensure completion of required documentation.
- Prepare investment reports and monitor key metrics for senior leadership.
- Manage trade data, reconciliation processes, and quality control in coordination with middle office teams.
- Support portfolio monitoring, investment modeling, and cash forecasting activities.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance tracking.
