Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business development or sales experience within the defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and closing contracts within European defense markets.
  • Established professional network across European defense ministries, prime contractors, defense agencies, or systems integrators.
  • Experience leading consultative, solution-oriented sales engagements from initial outreach through contract award.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship management, and proposal development skills with executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Professional-level English proficiency (C1 or higher).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, results-driven environment while collaborating effectively with international teams.
  • Experience with government procurement processes, NATO organizations, UAV technologies, RF systems, SIGINT, electronic warfare, or spectrum analysis is considered a strong advantage.
  • UAV operational experience or technical knowledge of defense technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and successful deal closure across defense, government, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with defense ministries, prime contractors, system integrators, and strategic industry partners throughout Europe.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions tailored to customer requirements and operational needs.
  • Develop and execute outbound business development strategies while collaborating with marketing to maximize inbound opportunities and pipeline growth.
  • Manage customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasting through accurate CRM documentation.
  • Represent the organization at defense exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Support proposal preparation, procurement processes, and contract negotiations for complex government and defense acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate market feedback and contribute to ongoing commercial strategy.
