Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive in the K-12 EdTech industry.
  • Demonstrated success hitting or exceeding large sales quotas.
  • Experience selling curriculum, Assessment, Data warehouse, and/or MTSS products.
  • Extensive experience in networking, prospecting, and pipeline generation.
  • Proficiency with MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Proven success in sales forecasting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with customers and prospects.
  • Experience using AI tools for efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in an agile, autonomous environment.
  • Executive presence suitable for consulting with district-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for districts within the assigned territory, from initial prospecting to final closing.
  • Manage pipeline creation, forecasting, and lead generation campaigns while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as an expert on regional funding, state initiatives, and the K-12 landscape to develop strategic account plans.
  • Achieve individual revenue targets through consultative sales, navigating multiple stakeholders, and engineering tailored solutions.
  • Engage with executive leadership to discuss deal strategies and industry trends.
