Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in Oil and Gas mapping or compliance.
  • Associate's Degree.
  • Proficiency in Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Degree in Geography or related field (preferred).
  • General understanding of pipeline safety regulations 49 CFR parts 192 and 195 (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of In-line Inspection data (preferred).
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or similar GIS platforms (preferred).
  • Experience with pipeline database systems or document management systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform annual pipeline safety agency reporting for federal and state requirements.
  • Process pipeline class location data and conduct HCA studies.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors providing mapping data.
  • Provide support for pipeline safety audits.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Integrity Management, Compliance, and GIS teams to ensure accurate asset information.
  • Assist with data validation and quality control for regulatory reporting.
