Requirements
- Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of pharmacy technician and claim adjudication experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills.
- Ability to work in a distraction-free environment with high-speed internet.
- Ability to work a schedule starting as early as 7:45 AM or 8:00 AM EST.
- Ability to sit or stand with focus at a workstation for long periods.
- Commitment to obtaining additional required licensure if needed.
- National CPhT certification strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Proactively coordinate medication refills including data entry and pharmacy claim adjudication.
- Make outbound patient refill phone calls and complete the patient refill request.
- Answer, resolve, and triage inbound inquiries.
- Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and clinicians.
- Identify medications requiring special storage or handling.
- Manage and organize data using database applications.
- Act as a value-added business partner to stakeholders.
