Requirements
- 0 to 5 years of dedicated experience in community building, event management, or field marketing.
- Specific experience within developer tools, DevOps, or developer infrastructure sectors.
- Deeply embedded within the developer infrastructure landscape.
- Existing network of builders, engineers, and companies.
- Proven track record of organizing developer-focused events end-to-end.
- Ability to turn community interest into quantifiable sales pipeline.
- Self-directed operator with a hands-on execution style.
- Ability to travel to San Francisco every two months for events.
- Residency in the San Francisco Bay Area is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute developer meetups and hackathons in the San Francisco/Bay Area every two months.
- Manage all event logistics end-to-end, including venue sourcing, speaker recruitment, and follow-up.
- Recruit high-profile speakers, strategic partners, and co-hosts from the developer infrastructure space.
- Cultivate, scale, and energize the online community space through authentic engagement.
- Establish robust relationships across the developer tools ecosystem.
- Strategically transform community activity and event attendance into actionable sales leads.
