Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development.
- 3+ years of experience leading distributed QA teams across multiple products or technical domains.
- Proven experience building or scaling a quality engineering function, including strategy, tooling, and process design.
- Strong programming proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with hands-on automation expertise.
- Deep experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright.
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-driven testing approaches, including generative AI or agentic automation tools.
- Experience working in cross-platform environments including Windows, Linux, Android, and cloud systems.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and modern DevOps practices.
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, remote, and highly technical environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills with a track record of developing QA talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality engineering strategy and execution across multiple product lines to ensure scalable, automated, and reliable testing systems.
- Manage and scale a team of QA engineers across multiple product areas, providing mentorship, coaching, and technical leadership.
- Define and execute a modern QA strategy aligned with CI/CD and continuous deployment environments.
- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Unity3D.
- Evaluate and implement AI-driven testing solutions, including LLM-assisted workflows, self-healing test systems, and automated API testing.
- Design and execute end-to-end testing strategies across Windows, Linux, Android, XR, cloud, and geospatial platforms.
- Partner with engineering teams to develop test plans for complex, multi-system features involving rich visual and spatial data.
- Drive release governance processes to ensure quality, stability, and performance across frequent deployments.
- Collaborate with QA leads to standardize processes, improve tooling, and scale best practices.
- Continuously improve QA systems, frameworks, and methodologies to increase automation coverage and efficiency.
