Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or quality engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with SAP Ariba applications, preferably across both upstream and downstream procurement areas.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA procurement or related procure-to-pay / source-to-pay processes.
- Strong product and functional understanding of procurement workflows in SAP Ariba modules.
- Proven ability to work independently, learn systems quickly, and define testing approaches with minimal documentation or direction.
- Strong experience creating test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright with Java or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate unclear behavior and determine expected outcomes.
- Experience with defect management, regression testing, and end-to-end validation.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end testing for SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA procurement-related solutions.
- Analyze product behavior, business workflows, and system changes to define test coverage even when formal documentation is limited.
- Independently identify test scenarios, edge cases, dependencies, and integration impacts across upstream and downstream procurement processes.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Design and enhance a reusable test automation framework / approach for SAP Ariba and related procurement applications.
- Validate procurement business processes across areas such as requisitioning, sourcing, contracts, supplier lifecycle, buying, catalogs, invoicing, and supplier collaboration.
- Work closely with product, functional, development, and support teams to understand requirements, clarify expected behavior, and ensure quality coverage.
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects, bugs, and quality issues through resolution.
