Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working with remote cardiac monitoring systems
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) such as Epic, Cerner, or NextGen
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations
  • Experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac devices
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions
  • Ability to build trust with elderly or tech-averse patients
  • Murj platform experience preferred
  • College or technical degree, healthcare-related certification, or equivalent experience preferred
  • CRAT certification or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients on remote monitoring and guide patients in pairing/transmitting data via home monitors or mobile apps
  • Provide instructions for device setup, care, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with clinical staff including Device Technicians, Cardiologists, and Nurses
  • Communicate device-related instructions between patient and clinical staff
  • Accurately document patient interactions in the Murj Platform and the clinic EMR
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all communications
  • Track patient compliance with daily/weekly transmissions
  • Follow up with non-transmitting patients promptly and professionally
  • Understand cardiac device types and associated software
