Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience working with remote cardiac monitoring systems
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) such as Epic, Cerner, or NextGen
- Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac devices
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions
- Ability to build trust with elderly or tech-averse patients
- Murj platform experience preferred
- College or technical degree, healthcare-related certification, or equivalent experience preferred
- CRAT certification or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on remote monitoring and guide patients in pairing/transmitting data via home monitors or mobile apps
- Provide instructions for device setup, care, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with clinical staff including Device Technicians, Cardiologists, and Nurses
- Communicate device-related instructions between patient and clinical staff
- Accurately document patient interactions in the Murj Platform and the clinic EMR
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all communications
- Track patient compliance with daily/weekly transmissions
- Follow up with non-transmitting patients promptly and professionally
- Understand cardiac device types and associated software
