Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years selling beverages (beer, hard seltzer, RTD cocktails, or comparable) into large chain accounts.
- Existing relationships among category buyers at national or regional convenience and grocery/mass banners.
- Demonstrated success landing and growing key chain accounts and navigating category reviews.
- Experience selling in a fast-evolving, regulated category.
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Ability to travel up to 50% for buyer meetings, trade shows, and key markets.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
- Highly self-motivated with a track record of closing deals and maintaining buyer relationships.
- Experience with VIP (Vermont Information Processing) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the THC beverage and functional-beverage categories is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue THC seltzer placements at large convenience, grocery, and mass retailers.
- Develop account-specific strategies for target retail banners.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and securing meetings to closing purchase orders.
- Partner with DSD and distribution teams to activate and accelerate distribution pull-through.
- Drive account velocity through reorders, SKU expansion, and ongoing buyer engagement.
- Introduce the non-alcoholic functional Spritz line as a complementary offering.
- Maintain detailed sales pipeline records and provide accurate revenue forecasting and KPI reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing on sell-in materials and operations on supply-chain readiness.
