Requirements

  • Knowledge of leave regulations including FMLA and state PFL.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience administering benefits programs and open enrollment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.
  • Clear communication skills for employee support.
  • Nice to have: Experience with equity administration platforms like Carta or Pulley.
  • Nice to have: Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Nice to have: HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPP.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with HRIS platforms like Rippling, Deel, or Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing for US employees and contractors.
  • Administer the company equity program and maintain cap table platform records.
  • Manage leave programs including FMLA, state leaves, and medical leave.
  • Lead benefits administration, including open enrollment and invoice reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll taxes and unemployment claims.
  • Assist in maintaining pay bands, compensation structures, and data accuracy in HRIS.
