Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to interpret large and complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of supply chain, transportation, and logistics principles.
- Experience with procurement, forecasting, and inventory planning processes in a manufacturing context.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics highly preferred).
- APICS/ASCM or ISM certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders across domestic and international suppliers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with production needs.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple manufacturing facilities, balancing supply availability with demand fluctuations.
- Analyze customer demand patterns and adjust procurement and supply plans accordingly to ensure continuity of operations.
- Consolidate and interpret supply chain data from multiple sites to support forecasting, planning, and supplier coordination.
- Expedite, modify, or cancel purchase orders as needed to align with production schedules and inventory targets.
- Develop and maintain supply chain reporting tools, processes, and KPIs to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate existing supply chain processes and recommend or implement enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth operational execution.
