Requirements

  • 8–10 years of HR generalist experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Prior experience supporting or working within a US-headquartered company.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations, performance conversations, and sensitive HR matters.
  • Working familiarity with Philippine labor law and statutory obligations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Comfort operating independently in a remote, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience managing contractor-to-employee or EOR transitions.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain fairness and rigor in HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with US People Ops team on the operational execution of contractor-to-employee conversion for the Philippines-based workforce.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Manila-based employees throughout their full tenure.
  • Manage all employee relations matters, including performance concerns and workplace conflict.
  • Act as the bridge between NYC leadership culture and the Philippines team.
  • Own the day-to-day operational management of the Employer of Record platform.
  • Design and execute onboarding and offboarding experiences aligned with global standards.
  • Build and maintain performance management frameworks.
  • Coordinate between HQ legal and Philippines-based counsel on employment and labor matters.
