- 3+ years of experience in data engineering and modeling
- Data engineering experience in Azure
- Ability to design an end-to-end data analytics solution architecture
- Deep understanding of Agile engineering practices
- Data Warehousing expertise
- Proficiency in Data ETL/ELT processes
- Data Modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)
- T-SQL programming
- Azure Data Factory or strong SSIS experience
- Azure Data Lake Store proficiency
- Azure DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
- SQL Server/Azure SQL expertise
- Azure Analysis Services or SSAS Tabular
Responsibilities
- Discuss best practices and strategies for modern data and analytics with clients
- Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users
- Configure and operationalize cloud infrastructure in Azure
- Speak intelligently to Microsoft’s cloud data strategy and roadmap
- Stay current on Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices
