Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics engineering or a related field.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and complex modeling.
- Experience with data modeling tools, specifically dbt, including incremental modeling strategies.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing source code in GitHub using branching strategies.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong analytical and logical approach to complex problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders and prioritize relationships.
- Experience working in high-growth, outcome-oriented environments.
- Understanding of sports betting or customer behavior analysis is a significant plus.
- Willingness to travel for team offsites and events.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming products and operations.
- Design and build insightful metric definitions, KPIs, and source of truth tables utilizing advanced SQL.
- Manage dbt cloud infrastructure and implement data modeling best practices.
- Collaborate with analysts and data engineering teams to solve business problems.
- Develop Snowflake Intelligence AI to empower teams with self-service analytics.
- Stay current on technology trends in data analytics and the sports betting industry.
