Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience building data pipelines using ETL technologies such as SSIS or Informatica.
  • 3 years of SQL development experience with SQL Server or Oracle environments.
  • 2 years of experience with cloud data platforms and tools such as MS Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Deep understanding of modern data architectures, including lakehouse design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms including ADLS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data pipelines and distributed processing.
  • Experience designing and implementing metadata-driven, scalable data pipelines.
  • Proficiency with DevOps and DataOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience integrating data using APIs and modern connectivity patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create tables within data marts, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Manage all extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) functions.
  • Build systems to collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information.
  • Expand and optimize data and data pipeline architecture for cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior data engineers and promote data education across the organization.
  • Investigate data to identify and propose solutions for issues within ETL pipelines.
  • Conduct testing of the warehousing and database environment.
