Requirements

Valid state licensure/certification (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or certified School Counselor).
Experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a school, clinical, or tele-health setting.
Deep understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and how mental health impacts academic performance.
Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
Strong virtual instruction skills, including proficiency with video conferencing and digital whiteboards.
Ability to pass a background check.
Reliable computer, internet access, webcam, and a quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, individualized virtual counseling and support tailored to each student's mental health goals, IEP social-emotional objectives, and unique psychological profile.
Create structured intervention strategies and wellness plans that address school-related anxiety, executive dysfunction, depression, behavioral challenges, or social-emotional learning (SEL) milestones.
Adapt support in real time based on student crisis levels, engagement, and emotional regulation.
Track student progress and communicate effectively with families, school psychologists, and school district partners.
Provide a safe, empathetic, and confidential virtual space for students.
