Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related subject.
- At least 3 years in an Account role within a pharmaceutical/medical communications company.
- Proven daily client-facing experience.
- Experience with Medical, legal, regulatory (LMR) review processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel 10-15% depending on clients’ needs.
- Leadership and mentorship experience.
- Strong financial management skills for budget development and reconciliations.
- Ability to execute and teach project status, financial reports, and contact reports.
Responsibilities
- Assume primary lead for the client upon client acceptance of proposal.
- Manage existing client business opportunities and identify organic growth.
- Develop client agendas, slide presentations, project briefs, and scope of work.
- Lead client calls involving LMR, faculty, and content experts.
- Provide direction to support teams on project management, objectives, and deliverables.
- Mentor and manage junior account personnel including conducting performance reviews.
- Monitor budgets, fees, and out-of-pocket expenses for assigned accounts.
- Ensure compliance with PhRMA, FDA, OIG, and ACCME guidelines.
