Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams
  • 5,000 hours of project management experience
  • Experience with custom or moderate complexity integrations/conversions (9-18 months duration)
  • Experience managing teams of 5-10 people
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of SDLC methodologies and resource allocation tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira, Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel 10% - 40%

Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery of software and services to insurance customers
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously including scope, change, cost, risk, and quality
  • Lead weekly project meetings and produce monthly status reports
  • Negotiate with resource managers and communicate with Product Engineering and Sales
  • Build cross-functional relationships to ensure project team success
  • Mentor peers on project management methodologies
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
