Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams
- 5,000 hours of project management experience
- Experience with custom or moderate complexity integrations/conversions (9-18 months duration)
- Experience managing teams of 5-10 people
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of SDLC methodologies and resource allocation tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira, Salesforce)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel 10% - 40%
Responsibilities
- Drive delivery of software and services to insurance customers
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously including scope, change, cost, risk, and quality
- Lead weekly project meetings and produce monthly status reports
- Negotiate with resource managers and communicate with Product Engineering and Sales
- Build cross-functional relationships to ensure project team success
- Mentor peers on project management methodologies
- Identify and recommend process improvements
