Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Current/Active Professional Engineering (PE) License with NCEES registration.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-degree experience in an MEP or AE firm.
- Experience managing workflow for MEP/FP designers and engineers in Healthcare or Science/Technology sectors.
- Operational proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Projects.
- Expertise in power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Proficiency with load demand, short-circuit, and arc flash analysis (SKM Powertools, Visual/AGI32).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical documentation and client presentations.
- Ability to travel to job sites for field verification.
Responsibilities
- Lead Power, Lighting, and Low Voltage engineering and cross-discipline MEP/FP project management.
- Perform electrical design, system calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Direct and mentor subordinate staff on daily responsibilities.
- Manage client expectations, project budgets, and schedules.
- Prepare project presentations, studies, and technical reports.
- Secure new business, negotiate revenue streams, and cultivate client relationships.
- Conduct site visits, field verification, and produce punch lists.
