Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Current/Active Professional Engineering (PE) License with NCEES registration.
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-degree experience in an MEP or AE firm.
  • Experience managing workflow for MEP/FP designers and engineers in Healthcare or Science/Technology sectors.
  • Operational proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Projects.
  • Expertise in power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, and security systems.
  • Proficiency with load demand, short-circuit, and arc flash analysis (SKM Powertools, Visual/AGI32).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical documentation and client presentations.
  • Ability to travel to job sites for field verification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Power, Lighting, and Low Voltage engineering and cross-discipline MEP/FP project management.
  • Perform electrical design, system calculations, and equipment sizing.
  • Direct and mentor subordinate staff on daily responsibilities.
  • Manage client expectations, project budgets, and schedules.
  • Prepare project presentations, studies, and technical reports.
  • Secure new business, negotiate revenue streams, and cultivate client relationships.
  • Conduct site visits, field verification, and produce punch lists.
