Requirements
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (or equivalent clinical proficiency exams).
- Current licensure in good standing in the state of California.
- At least two years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery.
- Competence in performing routine surgical and dental procedures.
- Competence in developing patient-appropriate anesthetic protocols.
- Competence in managing general practice medical cases.
- Competence in diagnostic modalities including digital radiography, hematology, chemistry, and cytology.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt and collaborate to build optimal solutions.
Responsibilities
- Process diagnostic results, medical questions, and medication requests.
- Formulate and execute diagnostic and treatment plans, adapting as necessary.
- Communicate clearly with clients via phone and chat regarding test findings and care recommendations.
- Work with other practice doctors to maintain continuity of care and medical standards.
- Consult with specialists regarding diagnostics and therapy when needed.
- Resolve client service issues and collaborate with the care team to improve patient experiences.
