Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in AIOps, data catalog architecture, product development, or Technical Operations infrastructure.
- Strong SDLC experience, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and CI/CD.
- Deep expertise in enterprise cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Google).
- Proficiency in Python or Go.
- Experience building API integrations and event-driven architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda/SQS).
- Solid understanding of corporate infrastructure and applications to translate into AIOps requirements.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-team, and complex technical initiatives.
- Experience with observability platforms and incident management processes.
- Ability to reside in a state where Airbnb has a registered entity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team to scale AI-enabled operations model and deliver AIOps solutions.
- Own the AIOps vision, strategy, and roadmap, partnering with observability platform owners.
- Drive 1–3 year operations architecture planning to improve system stability and compatibility.
- Identify and eliminate recurring issues through scalable automation and process excellence.
- Manage production services, triage high-severity incidents, and lead incident response.
- Validate postmortems, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop and maintain testing and monitoring tooling for automation platforms.
