Requirements

  • Extensive experience supporting Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) environments, including ICM scripting, CVP/Call Studio, Finesse, CUIC, ECE, and Webex Contact Center.
  • Extensive experience supporting Cisco Collaboration technologies such as CUCM, Unity Connection, Expressway, and voice gateways.
  • Advanced expertise in SIP and Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) configuration.
  • Experience supporting Tier 3 NOC or Contact Center operations, including P1/P2 incident ownership.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) with API integration experience.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi virtualization.
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking, Quality of Service (QoS), and IP voice performance.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and mentoring.
  • CCNP Collaboration certification strongly preferred.
  • Cisco Black Belt UCCE Support Stage 1 & 2 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the final technical escalation for P1/P2 incidents, lead technical bridges, and deliver post-incident remediation plans.
  • Perform deep-dive diagnostics across network, server, storage, virtualization, cloud, and backup platforms.
  • Manage problem resolution for chronic issues, including RCA production and preventative action tracking in ServiceNow.
  • Engineer and execute complex, high-risk changes aligned with CAB policies.
  • Design and refine monitoring thresholds and dashboards to improve observability and reduce alert noise.
  • Develop and maintain operational automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash and platform APIs.
  • Author and maintain Tier 1/2 SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles to raise operational quality.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance.
