Requirements

  • Independently licensed mental health counselor.
  • Leadership experience in clinical setting (inpatient, outpatient, IOP, PHP).
  • Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
  • Native or bilingual English proficiency.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox).
  • Experience using EMR and survey software.
  • Proficiency in clinical modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Clinical Director to develop and implement an engaging clinical schedule, including the development of curriculum.
  • Ensure that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices.
  • Perform crisis management throughout all intensive outpatient program delivery and on-call responsibilities during nights/weekends.
  • Maintain a caseload and facilitate weekly group treatment (15 hours minimum).
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.
  • Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission regulations and perform ongoing quality assurance.
  • Monitor treatment documentation to ensure compliance with agency and professional standards per DHCS and The Joint Commission.
  • Provide clinical supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with the development of relationships with key referral sources and participate in networking.
