Requirements
- Must be an independently licensed mental health counselor.
- Leadership experience in a clinical setting (inpatient, outpatient, IOP, or PHP).
- Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
- Native or bilingual English proficiency.
- Proficiency in cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox).
- Familiarity with EMR and survey software.
- Strong understanding of clinical modalities (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI preferred).
- Commitment to professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Manage a group of assigned clinicians, including facilitating training and auditing services for best practice compliance.
- Assist the Clinical Director in managing and developing the clinical staff.
- Facilitate weekly group treatment sessions and maintain an individual caseload (minimum 15 hours).
- Develop and implement an engaging clinical schedule and curriculum.
- Provide crisis management support for intensive outpatient programs, including potential night and weekend on-call duties.
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and DHCS regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Monitor clinical documentation to ensure adherence to professional and agency standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referral sources.
- Develop relationships with key referral sources and participate in networking activities.
