Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Journalism, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2 years of strategic writing experience including proposals, grants, or technical specifications.
- 2 years of experience assessing, developing, and managing proposals for software and services.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and experience with complex document formatting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce or other CRM.
- Understanding of financial and legal terms, budgets, and project schedules (Gantt charts).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
- Understanding of government procurement processes (state, municipal, or federal) is an asset.
- Experience with AI-assisted writing tools (e.g., CoPilot, Glean, Crayon).
Responsibilities
- Independently manage smaller proposals and renewals, including project planning and delegating tasks.
- Review RFP documents for compliance requirements and risk identification.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage tasks and technical solution support.
- Compile and format qualification materials, graphics, and layouts according to brand standards.
- Draft and edit proposal sections, executive summaries, and win themes using AI and content management tools.
- Apply quality control checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and deadline management.
- Collaborate with Sales, Renewals, and Solution Consultants to ensure successful submissions.
