Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal operations, or technical writing in SaaS or B2B technology.
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Strong background in project management with the ability to handle multiple high-stakes initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Legal, and commercial teams.
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools or automation platforms for content generation.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engagement with executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a U.S.-based East Coast-aligned or distributed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end RFx lifecycle, including intake, qualification, prioritization, execution, and final submission.
  • Design and implement a scalable proposal operations framework, including go/no-go evaluation and approval gates.
  • Develop and enforce RACI models to ensure clear ownership across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Security.
  • Manage and mentor a growing proposal operations team.
  • Coordinate subject matter experts to synthesize technical inputs into persuasive proposal content.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to maintain a centralized content library.
  • Oversee quality assurance of submissions for consistency, clarity, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous process improvement across proposal workflows.
