Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal operations, or technical writing in SaaS or B2B technology.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring team members.
- Strong background in project management with the ability to handle multiple high-stakes initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Legal, and commercial teams.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools or automation platforms for content generation.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication skills for engagement with executives and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a U.S.-based East Coast-aligned or distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end RFx lifecycle, including intake, qualification, prioritization, execution, and final submission.
- Design and implement a scalable proposal operations framework, including go/no-go evaluation and approval gates.
- Develop and enforce RACI models to ensure clear ownership across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Security.
- Manage and mentor a growing proposal operations team.
- Coordinate subject matter experts to synthesize technical inputs into persuasive proposal content.
- Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to maintain a centralized content library.
- Oversee quality assurance of submissions for consistency, clarity, and compliance.
- Drive continuous process improvement across proposal workflows.
