Requirements
- 8 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM on implementation or upgrade projects as a General Ledger and Commitment Accounting business analyst.
- 8 years of hands-on experience with state government accounting practice.
- 8 years of hands-on experience creating all forms of project deliverables as a business analyst.
- 8 years of hands-on experience conducting end-to-end system testing.
- 8 years of hands-on experience presenting information to business stakeholders in a formal setting.
- 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Preferred: 4 years of hands-on experience with Texas state agencies' PeopleSoft FSCM (CAPPS Financials).
- Preferred: 4 years of hands-on experience working in the Scrum framework and Jira.
- Preferred: 2 years of hands-on experience working with SharePoint lists.
- Preferred: 2 years of hands-on experience working with various Microsoft Teams features.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience with Phire.
Responsibilities
- Confer with organizational unit personnel to analyze operational procedures and identify problems.
- Identify input/output requirements, summarization methods, and report formats.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps.
- Review system capabilities and specifications to determine change feasibility.
- Analyze business objectives and identify alternative solutions via cost/benefit analysis.
- Facilitate SME meetings to document system requirements.
- Develop test scenarios and scripts for system testing.
- Conduct end-to-end system testing and support testing cycles.
- Prepare training materials for end users.
- Present project deliverables to business stakeholders in formal settings.
